About Us

In September of 2000, Kristin Coke met R. Solomon Raj at a pastor's conference in South India.  The friendship started when Solomon told her about his wife and young daughter Grace.  Kristin ended up giving her snapshot camera to Solomon as she discovered that he was very poor and had no way of photographing his family.  AndyBooks got its start in October of 2000 and began to support Solomon as he pastored a church in Andhra Pradesh, India and spent the rest of his time walking to nearby villages to evangelize.  We never imagined what the Lord would do with our small ministry.

In the summer of 2002 Solomon wrote a very disturbing letter.  Keep in mind that it takes about 2 weeks for a letter one way... so by the time he got our reply it had been 4 to 5 weeks since he wrote and mailed his letter.  He said that a local village, Golla Mandalla Thanda, had been torched by anti-Christian terrorists.  Immediately we began to raise money to help rebuild this small village.  We sent money over the next year to help rebuild - and thus AndyBooks Outreach was born.  We felt that we had been blessed and that we should begin to send AndyBooks profits to help Solomon and his ministry.  In May of 2003, Solomon founded Jehovah Jireh Ministries (JJM) and became officially registered with the Indian government.  With AndyBooks Outreach and JJM established, we could more easily transfer funds to Solomon.

Since our humble beginnings, the Lord has accomplished much through our small ministry.  We were able to get Solomon an email address which he can check in town one or two times a week - this has made communication much faster and easier!  Now we support JJM, its 11 evangelists, and Solomon Raj every month.  The ministry takes care of widows, orphans and the elderly.  The JJM team also travels to villages within a 50 mile radius to distribute food, clean water, clothing, blankets, Bibles, tracts and other needed items.  Solomon has also helped several families to start small businesses of their own.  We hope to empower people and give them a chance to work, rather than just sending an endless supply of money.  Through this very humble ministry and just a few hundred US dollars per month, many people have found hope.  Please visit the other pages on the site for more detailed information about the ministry.

It is our sincere hope that we can help as many people as we can through Solomon Raj and JJM.  AndyBooks Outreach is a non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  We give 100% of all donations to India.  AndyBooks pays for all administrative costs.  The Lord clearly instructed us that He would take care of us if we would take this step of faith.  We hope that you will prayerfully consider helping Solomon and JJM to change lives in India.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions, and may the Lord continue to bless you richly.  Thank you for visiting AndyBooksOutreach.org!
